Who We Are
Our History
The Greater Ohio Bleeding Disorders Foundation (GOBDF) was founded in 1954 as a support group by parents with children with hemophilia. GOBDF has grown from a volunteer support group to a comprehensive full-service organization with more than 70 years of community service. In 2024 we merged with the Central Ohio chapter, servicing a total of 52 counties in the eastern half of Ohio.
Our Mission
To enhance the quality of life for people with factor deficient bleeding disorders and their families, through advocacy, education, research and other constituency services.
